The RAB has announced a structural change of its marketing division into two separate groups: a Business Development unit dedicated to RAB’s key advertiser focus and a Marketing/Communications department led by LEAH KAMON who joins the RAB as SVP/Marketing & Communications.
Pres./CEO JEFF HALEY, who will lead the Business Development effort stated, "The formation of a single entity devoted exclusively to business development sends a clear message to the Radio industry and the advertising community that the RAB is committed to bringing incremental revenue to Radio."
"LEAH has a great talent for bringing together all the diverse elements of marketing and communications," noted HALEY. "Over the ten years I have known her she has always identified the strongest commonality across creative principles and maximized them to achieve defined goals. She will unify our assets and energize our mission to deliver a positive message about Radio."
"I am excited about joining the Radio industry and the RAB," said KAMON, "and to working again with JEFF. Radio is a terrific medium and the clear leader in audio entertainment and information. I look forward to working with everyone at the RAB and to helping advance our medium."
As part of this restructuring, EVP/National Marketing MARY BENNETT is leaving the RAB to pursue other interests.
