BBC RADIO MANCHESTER is revamping its lineup, with 4-6p weekday host TERRY CHRISTIAN exiting that slot (but keeping his SATURDAY night show) and BECKY WANT adding an hour to run 2-5p. News and sports block "MANCHESTER NOW" with STEVE SAUL will fill the 5-6p hour.
PHIL WOOD exits overnights SUNDAY through THURSDAY, replaced by SAM WALKER, while comic and "FAST SHOW" and "COLD FEET" actor JOHN THOMSON gets a SATURDAY midday show 11a-1p. A new show with ANDY CRANE from the BBC's new SALFORD QUAYS facility will join the SUNDAY lineup for noon-2p.
The changes start with THOMSON's debut on APRIL 12th.
