As first tipped on ALL ACCESS (NET NEWS 4/1), the other shoe drops in SEAN COMPTON's exit from CLEAR CHANNEL and PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS, as the longtime CC programming executive rejoins his old JACOR boss RANDY MICHAELS at TRIBUNE.
COMPTON, who had served as VP/Programming at CC and PREMIERE, has been named VP/Programming and Entertainment of the company's TV division TRIBUNE BROADCASTING, replacing MARC SCHACHER, who exited the company this week after 29 years with the company.
COMPTON will report to TRIBUNE BROADCASTING President ED WILSON.
