Douglas Merrill Joins EMI As Pres./Digital Business

EMI MUSIC has appointed GOOGLE Chief Information Officer DOUGLAS MERRILL to lead its growing digital music business. As Pres./Digital Business, MERRILL will head a new global function which brings together leadership responsibility for all of the company’s digital strategy, innovation, business development, supply chain and global technology activities.
TERRA FIRMA CEO and EMI Chairman GUY HANDS said, "DOUGLAS is a proven agent of change who combines broad business intellect with a deep engineering background.
