OPIE AND ANTHONY co-host GREGG "OPIE" HUGHES is dealing with a story circulated by a local free entertainment tabloid that claims his fiancee LINDSAY appeared in a sex video with MTV "JACKASS" and "VIVA LA BAM" star BAM MARGERA, that a disgruntled ex-employee of the show has the rights to the tape and intends to release it. The story hit the NEW YORK POST's PAGE SIX column today, quoting "STEPPIN' OUT" publisher CHAUNCE HAYDEN as describing the tape as "they're doing the nasty -- and I mean nasty."
On WEDNESDAY's show, OPIE blasted the report on the air and challenged the tape's existence, offering $100,000 for the tape while insisting that there is no tape. He said, "This has been a rumor for a year-and-a-half ... where is this f''in' tape?" ... and is coming from a disgruntled, fired employee." ANTHONY called the POST story "actionable lies" and a "lame-ass move," adding that he hoped HAYDEN is making "a little cake" from his paper because "I think you're gonna need it," although OPIE denied HAYDEN's assertion that he has instituted legal action over the tape.
