A TEXAS jury awarded $66 million to GRANTELY PATENT HOLDINGS LTD. in the company's patent-infringement case against CLEAR CHANNEL COMMUNICATIONS and their LAN INTERNATIONAL-owned VIERO software.
A jury in the U.S. District Court for the EASTERN DISTRICT of TEXAS on TUESDAY found that CLEAR CHANNEL infringed on GRANTLEY's intellectual property relating to integrated inventory management systems for multiple radio stations, said RONALD SCHUTZ of ROBINS KAPLAN MILLER & CIRESI LLP, a member of GRANTLEY's counsel.
GRANTLEY is the patent-holding sister company of MAXAGRID INTERNATIONAL LTD., a producer of yield management software for radio stations.
