MRA AC WLDB (B93.3)/MILWAUKEE and local retailer WHDC have come to the aid of a local veterans center. A 52-inch flat screen television belonging to the ZABLOCKI VETERANS AFFAIRS MEDICAL CENTER was stolen APRIL 4th. "When I was driving into work this morning and heard ELLEN and STAN on B93.3 talking about the stolen television, it really upset me," said WHDC's MICHAEL COSTIGAN. "I called B93.3 and asked ELLEN and STAN who I needed to contact to help out, and they put me in touch with JOHN ZEWISKE at THE ZABLOCKI VETERANS AFFAIRS MEDICAL CENTER."
"When ELLEN and I opened up THE MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL this morning and read that THE ZABLOCKI VETERANS AFFAIRS MEDICAL CENTER was the victim of this despicable crime, we could not believe it. Fortunately, one of our good clients was listening and was able to come through for the veterans at THE ZABLOCKI VETERANS AFFAIRS MEDICAL CENTER," said B93.3 PD/morning host STAN ATKINSON.
