SIMMONS-AUSTIN, LS, LLC is selling Sports KDXE-A (1380 ESPN)/LITTLE ROCK to ALMA VISCARRA's AHB, LLC for $675,000. SIMMONS acquired the station in 2006 and flipped it back to Sports in 2007 from Talk, LMAd to NOVA M RADIO for about a year as an AIR AMERICA RADIO affiliate.
GROVEPORT MADISON LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT is assigning the construction permit for low power WCRG-LP/GROVEPORT, OH to SIMPLY LIVING, effectively giving the assignee WCRG's hours (6-9a) in the parties' time-sharing arrangement. In addition, COMMUNITY REFUGEE AND IMMIGRATION SERVICES, INC. is transferring the construction permit for WCRC-LP/COLUMBUS, OH to SIMPLY LIVING, giving the assignee its 8p-1a shared-time slot. Five stations are authorized to share time on the 102.1 frequency serving GROVEPORT and COLUMBUS, OH, including SIMPLY LIVING's WCRS-LP and the two assignors.
In other deals filed with the FCC, W.E. VANATTA is selling his 50% interest in CENTER HILL BROADCASTING CORP., INC., licensee of Country WJLE-A-F/SMITHVILLE, TN, to partner LEON B. STRIBLING for $200,000 cash; and THE ASSOCIATION FOR COMMUNITY EDUCATION, INC. is selling FM translator K259BL/LAS VEGAS to ONDAS DE VIDA NETWORK, INC. for $5,000.
