Former NEW JERSEY Governor JIM MCGREEVEY told the court in his divorce case that he is "unemployable," but he does have a job offer -- from MILLENIUM Talk WKXW (NEW JERSEY 101.5)/TRENTON. Naturally, WKXW is extending MCGREEVEY an invite to host a show once again; MCGREEVEY hosted "ASK THE GOVERNOR" on a monthly basis before his controversial resignation.
"We have, in the past, expressed interest in adding JIM MCGREEVEY to our talk show lineup," said COO/Market Manager ANDY SANTORO. "NEW JERSEY 101.5 is dedicated to providing stimulating, informative and compelling programming.
"We are extending the former governor a serious offer of employment. JIM MCGREEVEY used to be a fixture on NEW JERSEY 101.5," SANTORO added. "When he was Governor he hosted a monthly talk show and spoke with NEW JERSEY residents about whatever was on their mind. He possesses excellent communication skills and I am confident that his program would be compelling and informative radio during this important political year in NEW JERSEY."
PD ERIC JOHNSON added, "Former Governor MCGREEVEY is studying to be an Episcopal Priest, but we’re confident we could accommodate his busy schedule and work with him to formulate a winning show for our NEW JERSEY audience."
