RADAR 87: ABC Daytime Direction Leads 12+

ARBITRON's RADAR 87 shows ABC with the two top-ranked networks among persons 12+, DAYTIME DIRECTION NETWORK and PRIMEACCESS RADIO NETWORK. The rest of the top 10 includes JONES MEDIAAMERICA's TWC RADIO NETWORK, PREMIERE's MORNING DRIVE NETWORK, WESTWOOD ONE's CBS NEWS PRIMETIME NETWORK, ABC's MORNING NEWS RADIO NETWORK, DIAL-GLOBAL's COMPLETE FM NETWORK, ABC's NEWS/TALK RADIO NETWORK, and PREMIERE's MEDIABASE and EMERALD PLUS networks.
The survey covers SEPTEMBER 23, 2004 through SEPTEMBER 21, 2005 and covers 52 networks with a sample size of 95,000, up from the previous 90,000. According to ARBITRON, 75% of U.S. consumers ages 12+, 18+, and 35+ heard one or more network radio commercials in the course of a week, with 77% of persons 18-49 and 78% of persons 25-54 hearing commercials on the 52 measured networks.
