USO & CMA To Send 80 Wounded Troops To CMA Music Festival

The USO and the CMA (COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION) have partnered to send 80 wounded U.S. troops from FORT CAMPBELL and their families to this year's CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL, which will be held JUNE 5-8 in NASHVILLE. FORT CAMPBELL is home to one of the largest populations of wounded soldiers in the UNITED
For the first time ever, a mobile USO unit will be present at the FESTIVAL's FUN ZONE for attendees to get more information about the USO. The FUN ZONE is free and open to the public. Visitors can participate in the "Messages From The Homefront" program, which gives them a chance to write a message of encouragement and support on a specially-designed poster of BNA artist KELLIE PICKLER from her recent USO tour to IRAQ. After the FESTIVAL, the poster will be displayed in USO centers around the world.
