Rock radio consulting firm JACOBS MEDIA has hired veteran programmer SCOTT JAMESON to join its consulting staff. JAMESON joins JACOBS MEDIA after a 15-year run as PD/Dir.FM Programming of CLEAR CHANNEL Rock WFBQ and Alternative WRZX/INDIANAPOLIS.
JAMESON replaces DAVE BEASING, who left to become PD of BONNEVILLE AAA KSWD (100.3 THE SOUND)/LOS ANGELES.
"SCOTT brings a great combination of experience at the highest levels of programming with a special orientation on developing NTR events and integrating professional sports franchises," comments Pres. FRED JACOBS. "He has created and produced profitable and successful concerts, as well as managed the flagship programming for the INDIANAPOLIS COLTS radio network. WFBQ and WRZX are great operations, and SCOTT’s multi-format versatility is a real plus. We are fortunate to find someone with skills and experience that will immediately benefit all of our clients."
"There were some interesting programming opportunities over the past couple of months but when FRED approached me about joining the company it quickly became clear that this is something I really wanted to do and it felt like a great fit. I’m honored to be a part of a very talented team of people FRED and PAUL have assembled, said JAMESON."
