ABC RADIO NETWORKS is in the final stages of its rollout of the X-DIGITAL SYSTEMS (XDS) PRO-4 Receiver to its 4,000 station affiliates. The Network was the first U.S. radio customer to partner with XDS, helping to develop and launch the new audio delivery platform. The rollout, which began in JANUARY, will be complete by the end of the year.
"Implementing this new technology is giving our affiliate stations and advertisers a competitive advantage while revolutionizing the way audio content is delivered and tracked in the radio industry," ABC RADIO NETWORKS SVP/Engineering CHRISTINE IANUZI said. "We're proud of the partnership we've established with XDS and the work we've done together to refine this platform, which has become a new feature in our customer service commitment to our affiliates and satellite resale clients."
"We're very pleased with ABC’s professionalism in successfully deploying and upgrading their infrastructure to meet today’s competitive market," X-DIGITAL Pres. IAN LERNER said. "The new capabilities enabled by the XDS-PRO line of receivers provide ABC RADIO NETWORKS with fully integrated features enabling superior content management and tracking never before possible in network radio."
