COX RADIO Top 40/Rhythmic WBTS (95-5 THE BEAT)/ATLANTA continues its efforts to give back to the ATLANTA community by teaming up with the BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF METRO ATLANTA and the WNBA's ATLANTA DREAM on KID'S DAY (7/22).
95-5 THE BEAT’s morning show hosts MURPH DAWG and CJ will buy tickets for thirty deserving youth to attend the ATLANTA DREAM game on JULY 22. "We believe that it is important for children to understand the choices and opportunities that they have in life... that these [choices & opportunities] are all connected in determining their success," says CJ in a press release.
The ATLANTA DREAM "KID’S DAY" will host kids activities on the PHILIPS ARENA concourse such as balloon artists, temporary tattoos, face painters and a DJ. During halftime, a dance routine will be performed by the dance team from ATLANTA-native USHER’s "NEW LOOK FOUNDATION". Post-game activities include an opportunity for kids to participate in shooting free throws on the court.
