EMF Sells Memphis AM

EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION is selling Contemporary Christian daytimer WPLX-A/TURRELL, AR-MEMPHIS and translator W244BY/MEMPHIS to POLLACK BROADCASTING CO. for $250,000. WPLX has a construction permit to move from 1170 AM at GERMANTOWN, TN to 1180 AM at TURRELL and increase from 1,000 watts daytime only to 5,000 watts days and 26 watts nights.
In other deals filed with the FCC, SEEHAFER BROADCASTING CORPORATION is selling Sports WXCO-A (ESPN RADIO 1230)/WAUSAU, WI to STEVEN H. RESNICK's SUNRISE BROADCASTING LLC for $250,000. RESNICK is the GM of crosstown QUICKSILVER BROADCASTING Rock WMZK (Z104) and Classic Country WJMT-A/MERRIL, WI but will exit that post upon closing of the WXCO deal.
JAMES FALCON is selling the construction permits for six new OKLAHOMA and TEXAS FMs to SOUTH TEXAS FM INVESTMENTS, LLC for $648,108. KXOW/ELDORADO, OK, KTSX/KNOX CITY, TX, KAHA/OLNEY, TX, KZNO/SEYMOUR, TX, KZAM/PLEASANT VALLEY, TX, and KXME/WELLINGTON, TX are included in the deal.
GREG DINETZ' GRENAX BROADCASTING III, LLC is selling the construction permit for a new FM in CHINO VALLEY, AZ to Ed SEEGER, ANDREW GUEST and JIM FORT's GOLD WATER RADIO PARTNERS, LLC for $3 million. The station is presently allocated as a Class A facility outside PRESCOTT, AZ.
And SONYA LYNN READ is selling six FM translators in KENTUCKY to JOSHUA KESLER for a total of five dollars.
