CRTC OKs New Ontario FM

The CRTC has granted a new FM low-power commercial license to FRANK ROGERS at ALLISTON, ON, north of TORONTO and home to the HONDA CANADA plant. The new station will air an AC format with 50 watts at 94.7 FM.
The commission also approved an additional transmitter for NEWCAP Country CJPR (MOUNTAIN RADIO)/BLAIRMORE, AB to serve PINCHER CREEK, AB. The new facility will use 92.7 FM with 3,300 watts ERP. The stations serve southern ALBERTA between CALGARY and the MONTANA border.
