VALORY MUSIC CO. artist JEWEL has teamed up with MARY KAY COSMETICS as the spokeperson for their 2nd Annual "A Kiss For Country" campaign. The campaign kicked off yesterday (8/5) with JEWEL and MARY KAY representatives helping "spruce up" the outdoor area of the MORNING STAR SANCTUARY, a domestic violence shelter in NASHVILLE.
"A Kiss For Country" asks celebrities and personalities to make lip prints and sign autographs on specially designed "Kiss Cards," which will be auctioned off to help "kiss domestic violence goodbye." All proceeds from the auction will benefit the MARY KAY ASH CHARITABLE FOUNDATION's (MKACF) programs committed to ending domestic violence.
Last year's campaign featured over 30 Country artists "puckering up for a cause," including MCA/NASHVILLE stars REBA McENTIRE and GEORGE STRAIT, RCA/NASHVILLE's MARTINA McBRIDE and COLUMBIA/NASHVILLE artist MIRANDA LAMBERT.
