CLEAR CHANNEL Adult Hits KBIG (104.3 MYFM)/LOS ANGELES' Radiothon kicked off with some celebrity fireworks. The station received a surprise call from LINDSAY LOHAN, who sent her love and support to a 12-year-old girl who is battling cancer at the CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL LOS ANGELES. Read the story here.
104.3 MYFM’s website also had its biggest Web day ever with over 20,000 unique visitors -- making it #4 in the country -- and approximately 500,000 page views. There is also nonstop texting for donations to the Radiothon.
Next up will be a visit by the Mayor of L.A., then and patients will have the chance to dance the night away at their very own Prom, which was designed for children who didn't have the opportunity to make it to their own.
