A big congrats to BIG MACHINE RECORDS/NASHVILLE President & CEO SCOTT BORCHETTA and his staff as the label celebrates their 3rd birthday this month. BIG MACHINE opened its doors on SEPTEMBER 1, 2005 and went to work immediately developing TAYLOR SWIFT into a major star. The young artist rose to stardom with 3 million albums sold and five consecutive singles to hit the Top 10, two of which reached #1 on the Country charts.
The label also released a critically-acclaimed album from TRISHA YEARWOOD, spawned a record-breaking #1 single from GARTH BROOKS (in an promotional partnership with PEARL RECORDS) and witnessed Texas Country artist JACK INGRAM achieve mainstream Country success as the ACM (ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC)'s "Top New Male Vocalist."
Other artists slated for upcoming projects on BIG MACHINE include DANIELLE PECK, SUNNY SWEENEY, KATE & KACEY COPPOLA and ADAM GREGORY (in partnership with NSA/MIDAS RECORDS/NASHVILLE).
Concurrently, JACK INGRAM has been selected as the first artist to ever guest host DIAL GLOBAL's syndicated COUNTRY TOP 40 COUNTDOWN with BOB KINGSLEY. Fans can submit questions for JACK at www.ct40.com, and his edition of the show airs the weekend of SEPTEMBER 20-21.
