Did HOWARD STERN's daughter pull out of an acting gig in an off-BROADWAY show because STERN begged her not to appear nude on stage? Both the NEW YORK POST and NEW YORK DAILY NEWS are reporting that EMILY STERN has left the cast of the JEWISH THEATER OF NEW YORK's production of a satirical play "KABALLAH." Playwright/director TUVIA TENENBOM told the POST that STERN "told her, 'If you're in that show, a lot of people are going to use it against me. Don't do it, don't do it, don't do it!'"
...a lot of people are going to use it against me.
TENENBOM told the DAILY NEWS' LLOYD GROVE that "after I cast her in late SEPTEMBER, her father called her in for a meeting. She came back very shaken. She said, 'My father basically told me that if I take the role, that his enemies would buy blocks of tickets, throw garbage at my vagina, take nude pictures of me and put them all over the Internet.' I told EMILY, 'You have to stand up for yourself as a human being and as an individual, and separate from your father. Your father is a psycho. Your father is selfish.'"
EMILY STERN played MADONNA in the parody of the Kaballah sect of Judaism; neither paper was able to get a comment from STERN or his daughter.
Meanwhile, STERN and crew appeared again on his new home at SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO, testing equipment live on the air at "HOWARD 100" on THURSDAY morning. Regular shows will begin MONDAY (1/9).
