Tommy Edwards Not Feeling The Love

FRIDAY will be CHICAGO radio legend TOMMY EDWARDS' last day as morning personality on BONNEVILLE AC WILV, reports ROBERT FEDER in THE CHICAGO SUN-TIMES. Starting MONDAY, he'll be replaced by BRIAN PECK, who has been hosting afternoons.
Succeeding PECK will be BRIAN MIDDLETON, who'll move up from evenings (but continue to host the 9p weeknight dance show). The decision not to renew EDWARDS, whose two-year contract expires in OCTOBER, was described to staffers as a budget matter.
"I'm very proud we had the opportunity to work together," said PD BARRY JAMES. "TOMMY EDWARDS is a true radio legend, and we appreciate his great contribution to our station."
For his part, EDWARDS said: "I understand business decisions are made, and I have no ill feelings toward BONNEVILLE."
