CBS Designer Lou Dorfsman Dead At 90

Condolences to family and friends of legendary CBS art designer LOU DORFSMAN, who died WEDNESDAY of congestive heart failure in ROSLYN, NY at 90.
DORFSMAN joined CBS as Art Director for the CBS RADIO NETWORK in 1946 and moved up to Creative Director for CBS television in 1959 and to Director of Design for the entire company in 1964. His innovative design of the CBS "look," for TV broadcast and for print advertising, communicated the company's "Tiffany Network" image and drew several awards for DORFSMAN, including induction into the ART DIRECTORS HALL OF FAME. He retired from CBS in 1991.
