Local HS Band And USMC Get The Party Started For CMA Awards

The COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS has announced that the band from NASHVILLE's JOHN OVERTON HIGH SCHOOL will officially kick off the festivities for the 42nd ANNUAL CMA AWARDS by playing on the red carpet. Country's hottest stars will also arrive in style with a fleet of vehicles donated by sponsor CHEVY dropping them right on the red carpet where they will be greeted and escorted by a member of the U.S. MARINE CORP.
The awards, known as "Country Music's Biggest Night," will take place on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 12th at the SOMMET CENTER in MUSIC CITY and will broadcast live on ABC at 8p (CT).
