The CBS RADIO cutbacks in MINNEAPOLIS have claimed Talk WCCO-A/MINNEAPOLIS sports reporter DAN TERHAAR and reporter ROSHINI RAJKUMAR, reports the PIONEER PRESS. The station recently asked staffers to take a 10% pay cut, but did not avoid layoffs in addition to the salary reductions.
The cuts were part of a cluster-wide staff reduction (NET NEWS 11/26) which Market Manager MARY NIEMEYER, who will become VP/Sales when MICK ANSELMO joins the cluster as Market Manager, described to the paper as "some resizing to help us better position the business in the current economic climate."
