GREATER MEDIA Talk WTKK/BOSTON midday hosts NECN anchor JIM BRAUDE and BOSTON HERALD columnist MARGERY EAGAN ink a new longterm agreement to stay with the station.
"I'm excited about the challenge of providing our very special audience a unique and compelling, live and local show on 96.9 FM WTKK for years to come," said EAGAN. "I want to thank my co-host JIM BRAUDE for 10 'fabulous' years. We have evolved together and I'm grateful that my favorite anchorman lets me get a word in edgewise."
"Despite MARGERY's best efforts, GREATER MEDIA refused to extend her without me," said BRAUDE. "I couldn't be happier about sparring with MARGERY on the topics that matter most to people in BOSTON and NEW ENGLAND. We're finally getting the hang of this radio thing and I thank our listeners and GREATER MEDIA for hangin' with us."
"JIM BRAUDE and MARGERY EAGAN are one of the premier talk shows in BOSTON today," said GREATER MEDIA Pres./CEO PETER SMYTH. "We look forward to providing the JIM AND MARGERY SHOW to New Englanders and WTKK's growing audience for years to come."
WTKK PD GRACE BLAZER added, "JIM and MARGERY are the real deal. Their smart, lively and witty program is in big demand by both listeners and advertisers. They are both deeply rooted in BOSTON and their popular midday show has become part of the fabric of our community."
