Disney's Iger Makes $30.6 M For '08

WALT DISNEY CO. CEO BOB IGER took home $30.6 million in compensation for 2008, an 11% hike over the previous year. His salary, disclosed in an SEC filing FRIDAY, remained at $2 million, but he became eligible for $7.77 million in stock awards and received a $13.9 million bonus despite the company's net income falling 5.5%.
The filing also disclosed that STEVE JOBS, who is taking a leave of absence from APPLE, has been nominated for re-election to DISNEY's board.
DISNEY owns the ESPN RADIO and RADIO DISNEY networks and stations.
