The members of the group STARS GO DIM have partnered with INVISIBLE CHILDREN, a non-profit charity to benefit the lives of children in the war-torn region of NORTHERN UGANDA.
From now through SUNDAY (2/22), STARS GO DIM will contribute 100% of the proceeds from the sales of their current Hot AC single "Come Around" to provide aid, education, and relief to the war-torn regions of UGANDA through the INVISIBLE CHILDREN organization with the goal of raising $1 million.
STARS GO DIM bassist MICHAEL WITTIG commented on the effort, "I saw the film 'INVISIBLE CHILDREN" ROUGH CUT' years ago in a tour bus out in California. Once you watch it, you will never forget. The things that go on in the world are unbelievable. After watching the film you can't help but want to get involved. If anything, I hope our partnership with Invisible Children will help create more awareness among our fans which will ultimately lead to action."
