IOWA PUBLIC RADIO has been knocked off the air in Eastern IOWA and DES MOINES by transmission line troubles at KUNI/CEDAR FALLS, which has in turn knocked out repeater stations in DUBUQUE, the QUAD CITIES, and DES MOINES. The stations went down on SATURDAY, with KUNI returning at low power for the rest of the weekend before failing early MONDAY.
Programming continues to be available via streaming on the Internet. The stations are expected to remain off the air through the weekend.
