Salary Cuts Coming To Peak Broadcasting

An across-the-board salary cut is in the offing at PEAK BROADCASTING's FRESNO and BOISE clusters, reports the FRESNO BEE, with cuts coming by MARCH 1st.
PEAK CEO TODD LAWLEY did not confirm or deny a 10% cut to the BEE. "It's hard because we're still the market leaders, and everyone is working really hard," said LAWLEY. "But, when faced with everybody taking a nominal pay cut versus us letting go several people, I think it's a pretty easy decision that we can do that. I'm tired of seeing people become unemployed in this town."
LAWLEY also confirmed the exit of Rhythmic Oldies KMGV (MEGA 97.9)/FRESNO middayer BRIAN ANTHONY, who told the BEE, "It came out of the cold. It blindsided me. When I signed my final paperwork, it said the reason for my firing was a termination of my job. I don't think it had anything to do with my performance. I am a former employee of the year."
