Paragon Launches Radio Stimulus Package
February 17, 2009 at 9:02 AM (PT)
The PARAGON CONSULTING NETWORK is offering three free months of consulting services from a "collection of media's top executives. Each free consulting package will be customized to the station's needs. One winner from commercial radio and one winner from public radio will be selected. Stations submit their story in total confidence."
PARAGON's MIKE HENRY said, "This is our collective attempt to inject new life into local radio. Radio can be rebuilt, but it must take place one local radio station at a time. The network consultants feel so strongly about helping local radio that they are donating their time in a pro bono fashion to lift up the radio stations selected to receive these free services.
"We are convinced that many of the challenges that local radio stations face can be met with a broad media strategy and local implementation. It's not as simple as going back to how radio used to be, but we can combine the best of the old with the needs of the new to re-create vibrant local radio stations that have strong new media relationships. We can't wait to identify the two winning stations and roll up our sleeves to their benefit."
