Keith Brooks And First Broadcasting Settle Contract Dispute

After a week of hunger strike and countless phone calls and emails of support, FIRST BROADCASTING '80s KXCL (FLASH 92.1)/SACRAMENTO afternooner KEITH BROOKS exits the station. BROOKS told ALL ACCESS, "I am no longer obligated to serve out the remainder of a 3 year no cut deal. It was never about money, never has been, never will be. I am committed to the craft of `FREE' radio broadcasting. I grew up listening to radio never watching TV. WOLFMAN JACK was my hero. KASEY KASEM, RICK DEES,and RICK CHASE were my mentors. I just want to do the best radio possible."
