With former flagship WBUD-A/TRENTON having been sold and flipping to Religion, minor league baseball's TRENTON THUNDER will be heard on RIDER UNIVERSITY noncommercial WRRC (107.7 THE BRONC)/LAWRENCEVILLE-TRENTON this season in the first under a three-year deal. STEVE RUDENSTEIN returns for his fourth season at the mic, with JARED SMITH joining him this year.
"Broadcasting via an FM signal is a huge asset for THUNDER fans listening on 107.7 FM and over the Internet," THUNDER GM/ COO WILL SMITH said. "We work closely with RIDER to host the MAAC Baseball Tournament and we look forward to expanding our relationship to include TRENTON THUNDER radio broadcasts for the next three years."
"RIDER UNIVERSITY's 107.7 FM THE BRONC is proud to be a broadcast partner and outlet for TRENTON THUNDER baseball," WRRC GM/Student Advisor JOHN MOZES added. "This agreement provides our students with an excellent learning opportunity and is a great way to strengthen our listening base beyond RIDER and into MERCER, BUCKS and BURLINGTON counties."
