The price for JOHN FULLER's RED WOLF BROADCASTING's purchase of Alternative WURH (FM 104ONE)/HARTFORD from CLEAR CHANNEL's ALOHA STATION TRUST is $7.9 million, according to paperwork filed at the FCC. The price was not disclosed when the sale was announced last week.
And JERRY CLIFTON's PRO-ACTIVE COMMUNICATIONS, which recently filed to transfer ownership of the station to debtor-in-possession status, is assigning the license of Top 40-Rhythmic KVPW (POWER 106)/KINGSBURG, CA-FRESNO to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION under a letter agreement in bankruptcy court that gave PRO-ACTIVE a year to pay off a promissory note or sell the station for enough money to cover the note. PRO-ACTIVE filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and resumed control of KVPW in OCTOBER after the end of an LMA-to-buy with MACKNIFICENT BROADCASTING.
