The RECORDING ACADEMY's MUSICARES organization has teamed up with the COLON CANCER ALLIANCE (CCA) to host the inaugural event, "THE STARS GO BLUE FOR COLON CANCER" on MARCH 24th.
The benefit concert will be held at the COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME & MUSEUM's FORD THEATER in NASHVILLE and will feature performances from VINCE GILL, AMY GRANT and HAL KETCHUM.
The show was inspired by GAC-TV personality NAN KELLEY's husband, CHARLIE, who was recently diagnosed with colon cancer at age 40. CHARLIE's diagnosis came only three weeks after NAN had successfully completed treatment for a different form of cancer.
Tickets are on sale for $100, and the price includes a post-show reception and meet & greet with the artists. All proceeds will benefit both MUSICARES and the CCA. Call the CCA for more info at (877) 677-3488.
