THE CONTENT FACTORY's DAN PATRICK inks a deal to bring his radio show to TV through DIRECTV's THE 101 NETWORK. The show will air live 9a-noon ET weekdays and will be both a simulcast of the radio show and an expansion of the format with behind-the-scenes humor. The TV version is scheduled for a SUMMER debut.
"DAN is much taller and funnier in person and when he’s not behind a desk," said DIRECTV EVP of Entertainment ERIC SHANKS. "You never know what DAN could do whenever he is left to his own devices but it sounds like it will be a twisted version of 'THE OFFICE' with some guests and sports commentary mixed in – at least that’s what he is telling us anyway."
PATRICK added, "I’m a natural for DIRECTV, I work best when you point me towards the southwesterly sky with an unobstructed view."
