PARAGON MEDIA STRATEGIES' blog has posted an update on its free consulting service, the Radio Stimulus Package. The company found 27 radio stations willing to apply -- including 16 from commercial radio, seven from public radio and four networks.
About a third of the requests came from stations are from unrated markets. Most are independent owners/operators, although a few of the major and publicly-traded radio groups are represented. There are even two stations from the top-10 markets and one from a top-three market.
A sampling of their submissions paint a clear picture of the issues faces radio stations in 2009; check them out here.
