It didn't take long for LARS LARSON to land with a new syndicator after WESTWOOD ONE pulled the plug on its distribution of his national show last week, with COMPASS MEDIA NETWORKS taking over as the show's syndicator effective MARCH 30th.
The show presently airs on over 150 stations, including 14 of the top-15 markets, including a weekend clearance on SALEM Talk WNYM-A (AM 970 THE APPLE)/NEW YORK, weekdays on MT. WILSON BROADCASTING Talk KGIL-A/LOS ANGELES and XESURF-A/SAN DIEGO, and a weekday evening clearance on CBS RADIO Talk KRLD-A/DALLAS.
COMPASS Founder PETER KOSANN told ALL ACCESS, "Our industry needs talent like LARS LARSON -- a tireless worker, an award winning journalist and broadcaster, a proven winner -- who wakes up every day thinking about ways to serve his listeners and affiliates. He is a ray of sunshine for our industry. We are thrilled to welcome him to the COMPASS MEDIA NETWORKS family."
LARSON is based at ROSE CITY RADIO Talk KXL-A/PORTLAND, where he also does a local/regionally syndicated show.
