AQH Up 177% For comScore Arbitron Online Radio Ratings

YAHOO!’S LAUNCHCAST RADIO, AMERICAN ONLINE’s RADIO@AOL NETWORK, and MICROSOFT’S MSN RADIO AND WINDOWS MEDIA NETWORK posted a whopping 177% increase in weekday AQH (MONDAY-FRIDAY, 6a-7p) from OCTOBER 2004 to OCTOBER 2005, according to the first year results from comSCORE ARBITRON ONLINE RATINGS. The three charter subscribers had a 63% increase in weekday 12+ Cume.
Here is the breakdown of each network for the year: MICROSOFT’S MSN RADIO AND WINDOWS MEDIA NETWORK soared 414% AQH and 101% Cume; AMERICAN ONLINE’s RADIO@AOL NETWORK jumped 190% AQH and 29% Cume; and YAHOO!’S LAUNCHCAST RADIO AQH went up 130% and 74% Cume.
LIVE365 was up 127% in weekday AQH and 67% in Cume for the 10 months measured, beginning in JANUARY '05. CLEAR CHANNEL ONLINE MUSIC AND RADIO saw a 33% gain in AQH and 14% in Cume since joining the panel in JUNE '05.
