Keith Urban's Bus Is Innocent Following NY Post Report
April 6, 2009 at 1:02 PM (PT)
Contrary to an earlier report published in the NEW YORK POST, CAPITOL/NASHVILLE star KEITH URBAN's tour bus did NOT dump septic water in the streets of NEW YORK CITY, following his performance at WEBSTER HALL.
According to the POST: "The cleanup crew at WEBSTER HALL was left with quite a mess on its hands after country crooner KEITH URBAN's performance last WEDNESDAY (4/1). According to sources at the club, someone aboard a VERIZON-sponsored KEITH URBAN tour bus emptied the vehicle's septic tank outside the East 11th Street club at 3 a.m., after the show. "There was about 150 square feet of gunk, a half an inch think, outside the main entrance," says one employee. "It was a literal [expletive] show."
KEITH's publicist has released the following statement: "KEITH URBAN neither contracted, leased or owned any type of vehicle (bus or otherwise) located in or around NEW YORK CITY at the time of his performance at WEBSTER HALL. Any accusations that he was responsible in any way (for the alleged release of septic water into the streets of New York City) are inaccurate and malicious. His tour bus was in fact in TENNESSEE where it was being prepared for KEITH's upcoming tour."
