Harrison Goes Green
April 21, 2009 at 10:23 AM (PT)
For nearly two years, Talk host HARRISON has delivered daily green advice on radio stations throughout the U.S. and CANADA. Recently he created a daily radio feature called “THINK GREEN RADIO,” nationally syndicated via ENVISION RADIO NETWORKS, which has since inspired a school in OHIO to take its first green steps towards making a difference in the environment.
Last week, HARRISON, the program’s host, traveled to BEACHWOOD, OH to meet with State government and to dedicate the “ULTIMATE GREEN CLASSROOM” at BEACHWOOD HIGH SCHOOL – a project which will now provide the national model for eco-classrooms. Describing the feature as DISCOVERY SCIENCE-meets-DISNEY NATURE, HARRISON comments, “What’s fun about our daily green radio bursts is they’re universal and speak to everybody – from AM Talkers to FM Country folks and NPR aficionados. They’re sparking all sorts of classically American ideas that end up saving people a lot of money, too.”
THINK GREEN WITH HARRISON is once again celebrating EARTH MONTH throughout APRIL with daily green content that is free and available for broadcast on-air, online or on demand and all geared toward making a positive difference for the planet. Visit www.thinkgreenradio.com for sample video!
