Randy Owen And Wife Kelly Support Alabama Troops

BBR (BROKEN BOW RECORDS)/NASHVILLE artist and front man of the group ALABAMA, RANDY OWEN, along with wife KELLY, joined with ALABAMA dignitaries in support of the Troops. OWEN sang the "National Anthem," and shared encouraging words during the commissioning ceremony for the 1343rd Chemical Company of the ALABAMA NATIONAL GUARD, being deployed to KUWAIT this week. The event was on TUESDAY, APRIL 21st in Ft. PAYNE.
"This is our hometown, and these soldiers and families mean a lot to us," said OWEN. "It is truly special to be a part of sending off our soldiers and sharing the pride and pain with their families."
In addition to RANDY and KELLY, also in attendance were CONGRESSMAN ROBERT ADERHOLT (ALABAMA 4th District- R), and MAJOR GENERAL BLAYLOCK, Commander of the ALABAMA NATIONAL GUARD.
