April 27, 2009 at 5:25 AM (PT)
The NEW YORK DAILY NEWS' BOB RAISSMAN is reporting that WESTWOOD ONE is offering MARV ALBERT a "major pay cut" -- possibly by half -- to remain the voice of the syndicator's "MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL" coverage. RAISSMAN says that ALBERT is considering a $250,000 cut in his $500,000 compensation from the network.
The columnist also says that former JETS and BENGALS quarterback and current CBS RADIO Sports WFAN-A/NEW YORK morning co-host BOOMER ESIASON will "definitely" be back as analyst on "MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL."
