Celador To Put Edinburgh Station Back On The Air
April 28, 2009 at 5:16 AM (PT)
The frequency formerly occupied by the now-defunct TALK 107/EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND will be taken over on a temporary basis by CELADOR RADIO BROADCASTING, which will launch an AAA format as "THE COAST" in MAY. CELADOR, the production company behind "WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE," owns AAA THE COAST/DORSET, ENGLAND, serving part of ENGLAND's southern coast, and hopes to get a permanent license for the EDINBURGH operation.
Former crosstown FORTH FM personality SCOTT WILSON will handle mornings at the new station, with former RADIO FORTH and RADIO CLYDE host BRIAN FORD in afternoons.
UTV shut TALK 107 down on CHRISTMAS eve.
