Train Keeps A Rollin' For WROR's Loren & Wally
February 6, 2006 at 7:01 AM (PT)
GREATER MEDIA Classic Hits WROR/BOSTON morning hosts LOREN & WALLY decided that after 25 years on the air, it may be a good idea to explore other career options, so they launched a "Job Swap" contest.
Listeners were invited to apply to swap jobs with the hosts, and each day for two weeks, LOREN & WALLY interviewed candidates to learn more about their day-to-day responsibilities and the overall demands of their jobs. Over 1,100 entries were received and two applicants were selected to swap jobs, including the winner, MARGO STORSTEEN, a locomotive engineer from the MASSACHUSETTS BAY COMMUTER RAILROAD.
Tomorrow (2/7) at 9:30a, STORSTEEN will receive a $2,500 signing bonus and appear on the air with LOREN & WALLY at the MBCR Main Concourse, South Station Train 611 outbound, which will depart at 10:05a with LOREN & WALLY aboard... but hopefully not driving!
