CHRIS BOOKER will take over middays (10a-3p) beginning MONDAY, JUNE 1ST at CBS Top 40 KLSX (97.1 AMP RADIO)/LOS ANGELES, making the switch to EL LAY from NEW YORK where he formerly anchored afternoon drive for WXRK (92.3 K-ROCK).
"BOOKER is a massive talent," said SVP KEVIN WEATHERLY. "He has been filling in for us in various dayparts and the AMP RADIO listener response has been nothing short of amazing. His radio track record speaks for itself, and his style and enthusiasm are a great fit for AMP RADIO."
In addition to his experience at K-ROCK, BOOKER has also been seen on MTV, VH-1, ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT and the TV GUIDE CHANNEL.
BOOKER added, "AMP RADIO is without question the hottest station in AMERICA right now! I am quite simply 'honored' to say that I work for 97.1 AMP RADIO."
KLSX launched its new format on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 20th. BOOKER joins an AMP RADIO air staff that includes STRYKER in afternoons (3-7p) and CASEY MCCABE at night (7p-Mid).
