Tribune Ups Four

TRIBUNE CO. has given four executives promotions, effective immediately. Among the moves, SVP/CTO STEVE GABLE has been named EVP/CTO; VP/Deputy General Counsel & Corporate Secretary DAVID ELDERSVELD has been upped to SVP/Deputy General Counsel & Corporate Secretary; VP/Development DAN KAZAN gets SVP/Development stripes; and VP/Strategy NAOMI SACHS has been named SVP/Strategy. The publishing division also upped VP/Circulation VINCE CASANOVA to SVP/Circulation.
"STEVE, DAVE, DAN and NAOMI are important players within the company and are an important part of Tribune’s leadership team of the future," said EVP/Chief Administration Officer GERRY SPECTOR. "They are team players and are helping to drive essential change throughout TRIBUNE -— change that makes us more innovative, more responsive to our customers and more efficient."
