WQAM Suspends Neil Rogers

BEASLEY Sports WQAM-A/MIAMI midday mainstay NEIL ROGERS was suspended indefinitely with pay after accidentally airing an "f-bomb" on his show MONDAY.
The SOUTH FLORIDA SUN-SENTINEL's TOM JICHA reports that ROGERS told him he was suspended after swearing near the end of MONDAY's show and hitting the dump button in his TORONTO home studio, only to find that it had been disconnected when the station moved to new studios. ROGERS told JICHA "I hit the dump button three times" to no avail, and his producer in FLORIDA, unfamiliar with the new studio, also failed to dump the comment.
ROGERS, agitated by the firing of his longtime producer and fill-in host JORGE RODRIGUEZ, blurted out "F--k JOE BELL" (WQAM GM), and BELL suspended ROGERS TODAY until BEASLEY corporate counsel JOYCE FITCH can complete an investigation.
