CITADEL Active Rock WKLQ/GRAND RAPIDS flipped to Sports TODAY (5/28) as 107.3 THE BALL at 2:30p ET. The flip to the Sports format, similar to sister WBBL-A (THE BALL), followed a day of jockless music with a repeated promo promising "change is coming."
The FM lineup will include local morning show "THE STARTING LINEUP" with AM middayer BRET BAKITA and MICHAEL GREY, followed by THE CONTENT FACTORY/FOX SPORTS RADIO's DAN PARTICK, PREMIERE's JIM ROME, and the AM's afternoon "THE HUGE SHOW" with BOB SIMONSON. The station will also carry DETROIT LIONS, PISTONS, RED WINGS, and afternoon TIGERS games. The music format continues online at wklq.com.
The WKLQ calls have been moved to CITADEL's AM 1490, the Talk station formerly carrying the WODJ-A calls, in WHITEHALL, MI (MUSKEGON).
