Consultant and SABO MEDIA CEO WALTER SABO is offering a one-day, custom seminar on the facts and myths of FM Talk to stations nationwide. SABO, who programmed talk on FM over 20 years ago and launched the groundbreaking formats at WKXW (NEW JERSEY 101.5)/TRENTON (currently sporting a cume of over 1 million listeners and gross revenues over $25 million) and WTKS (REAL RADIO 104.1)/ORLANDO, among others, has dubbed the seminar "THE QUICK START ACTION DAY" and is scheduling the seminars through AUGUST 1st.
“The myths about FM talk are shocking,” said SABO. “There is no one right way to do it but there are definitely dead-wrong ways to do it." SABO, who said that he is not available presently for long-term consultany arrangements, promises to talk about both in the seminar, which addresses topics like "the most important question to ask before starting," "how to protect a co-owned AM talk station's cume," keeping budgets low, and where to find local and syndicated talent.
