GAPWEST/BILLINGS OM "LIVIN LARGE" LARRY WILSON check in with ALL ACCESS to pass along a great "feel good" story.
"5th grader, ALEX WALTER from BILLINGS, MT. needed a heart. Two weeks ago he was flown to CALIFORNIA to receive his new heart! He is on the mend! GAPWEST BROADCASTING in BILLINGS put together a fundraiser to help offset some of the mounting bills for travel, medical and lodging for the family. Last FRIDAY the 19th the community showed up to ROSE PARK in BILLINGS, bounced on Big Sky Inflatables and had some fun with indoor football league professionals from the BILLINGS OUTLAWS -- all for ALEX. HEATHER MARXER, Business Manager for GAPWEST/BILLINGS organized the event in short order and called back to the stations, CAT COUNTRY 102.9 and Today’s Fresh Music, B-103.7 for some air time, and after the 3 ½ hour event was finished, nearly $3,000 dollars was raised!"
